If you are an employee who has been furloughed and your employer has notified you that you are now being laid off, you must:

  • Register or reactivate your account with HireNet Hawaii.   This is a requirement to receive Unemployment Insurance benefits.

  • Go to HireNet Hawaii and either click on “Not Registered Yet” or sign in.

  • Update the General Information and Background Information tabs with current information.

  • Create a resume within HireNet Hawaii or upload it if you already have one – select “Resume Builder”.  Your resume must be posted for potential employers to view.
